The Days of Sadat presents a reflective exploration of a pivotal, yet frequently neglected, moment in the history of war and peace in the twentieth century. In 1977, only four years after the war of 1973, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat undertook the courageous initiative of extending a hand toward peace with Israel. This transformative act altered the trajectory of regional history, creating the foundations for cooperation, prosperity, and the possibility of reconciliation.
The publication features works by Hagai Farago, a collection of historical fragments as well as an essay by Dr. Orel Beilinson, offering scholarly insight into the Persident Sadats' own relation to art and culture.
